Come On Ladies, Football Isn't Just for the Blokes of Bideford

Bideford Ladies Football Club is linked with the main club and play

their Sunday League home fixtures at the Sports Ground in Kingsley

Road. The team is managed by Vanessa Saunders, who also acts as the

Chairwoman.

Since their formation in September 2004, they

have gone from strength to strength, and have for the last three

seasons played in Premier Division of the Westward Developments Devon

Womens League. The team find themselves in the enviable position of

having a current squad of 23 players with a regular attendance of 18

players to the weekly training sessions. The players vary in age from

14 to 40+, and all abillities are welcome to the friendly team which

trains under the guidance of its three experienced coaches at Bideford

Football Club in Kingsley Road, Bideford.
