this is a very pleasant book shop situated on bideford highstreet. they have a good selection of books to cater for everyones needs.i must say that they have a good selection of childrens books to. i have used this book shop for ordering certain books i have looked for and cant find and have always them incrediably helpful. the staff are very curtious and lovely. worth popping in for your holiday read.

This is a rather pleasant bookshop.They have a very good selection of books available and are always willing to track down books that they don't have in stock.The staff are always friendly and pleasant.Its ideally situated at the bottom of the High Street. Although books can be purchased cheaper, its nice to keep a local business in business.Pop in for your book to read on the beach.

The Rocking Horse

What I love about this book shop is the Rocking Horse. Back in the early eighties when I was a wee lad this little rocking horse used to live next door in Chopes, I am quite amazed that it is still in working order and somehow managed to gallop into the shop next door. Apart from the horse they have an excellent children's section along with sport, computer and local history.

What a great book shop! Although a lot of the books..

What a great book shop! Although a lot of the books can be bought cheaper elsewhere it is great to have an independant book shop in the town. There is a really good selection of recently published books and the windown display changes constantly, to make it a place you really have to browse around. If you have young children there is a section at the back of the shop for them to browse around and also a big old fashioned rocking horse for them to play on while you are chosing your book for the holiday!
