A great little take away tucked away in Allhalland street. The pasty range is extensive and absolutely delicious. The sandwiches and baguettes are made to order and are lovely and fresh as they heat the baguettes through before filling them. You can sit in and eat if you prefer and watch the busy little street outside go by.
The staff are friendly and quick with your order so if you're on your lunch break you can spend more time eating and less time waiting.

Roast Baguette
Roast Baguette of the day is the best thing about Happy Pasty in Bideford, Fresh local meat slow roasted and carved, then added to a baguette of your choice warmed slightly. Mince sauce or apple sauce with stuffing then added makes a yummy lunch time treat. Great value and the food is always fresh. Slight delays at busy times as everything is made to order, worth the wait thou.
They also sell feshly made sandwiches and rolls with the filling of your choice and always have a great selection of cakes and treats.By barbersgirl at 06:28 on 07/04/10

This has always been my favourite pasty shop, And its very reasonably priced. Baguettes of the day are lovely always well filled with meat and trimmings. Everything is made there and then very fresh, hot and yummy. The selection of cakes are very nice and very tempting.The staff are very friendly and very efficient.Well recomend a visit.

Good food at a reasonable price. I always like to try their roast baguette of the day, complete trimmiings - turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce is my favourite! The staff are efficient and friendly
There is a good selection of sandwich fillings as well as jacket potatoes, pasties, pies and sausage rolls. For those of us who cannot resist a sweet for afters, there is always a good selection of cakes and chocolate as well!
