Deco World - not to be trusted!
This is a totally unethical company and I can't believe they are able to operate let alone sleep at night. As a Bideford company shouldn't the local business community exclude them? What does it say for Bideford in general? We trusted this business when we paid for two wall masks and they were delivered damaged, not in transit but by the person that packed them! we were asked to return and a refund was promised, they've accepted delivery (recorded) and not refunded the money. They are updating their site on a regular basis (just last week latest) so are obviously trying to move stock still. As with David King I've given this one star to get it recorded but ideally it should be minus one hundred! Kev Mitchell

Unethical Company
I have tried to make contact several times to ask for my money back which has been nearly a year now, but they do not response. I will be contacting the Police Anti-Fraud squad in the next few days. This is totally unacceptable and unethical business practice.

Beware of buying from Deco World
I sent a £1,500 cheque to Deco World for two pieces of furniture. The cheque was cashed on 06//03/2012. They did not provide me with a receipt or attempt to contact me regarding a delivery date. After several e-mails I asked for them to return my money 31/03/2012. They said they would refund in full the total amount by 31/04/2012. They did not return the money and made no further contact with me. I sent them a recorded letter (17/05/2012) stating I would take to court which was returned to me 'not called for'. I made a claim against Deco World on Money Claim Online. The notice of issue was sent on the 31/05/2012 with no response. A warrant was issued and a Bailiff made 7 attempts to issue it with no reply from Bailiffs letters or visits and the warrant was returned to the court. Deco World appears that it has been shut down for some time, but is still trading over the internet. I have contacted Trading Standards and I'm taking further legal advice. I have had give one star to get this posted, but as you can see they don't deserve it.
