Wonderful location with equally wonderful food
The Yeoldon House Hotel is tucked away down by the river Torridge. Within the hotel is quite possibly the best resaurant in the area. Named after the most celebrated chef in Victorian England, Soyers offers the sort of well presented cuisine that you'd expect to find in a top London hotel. I really can't fault it. Recommended.

Best restaurant in Bideford
You won't find many people who would argue with you if you said that Soyer's is the best restaurant in the whole of Bideford. A gorgeous setting and atmosphere means that everyone feels relaxed and comfortable despite its high-class setting, and the service is fantastically personal. The food though is simply amazing - exquisitely presented and range enough for everyone, so much love and attention to detail has clearly gone into everything that you will never be disappointed.

I was very very impressed with Soyer''s restaurant. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable and the overall ambience brilliant. We have returned since our first visit and once again it lived up to the first occasion.

Consistent quality at Soyer's Restaurant
I agree- an elegant and charming setting at Yeoldon House and always good quality food at the Restaurant, including an extensive wine list of over 60 international wines, I strongly recommend this place.

Very Impressed with Soyer's Restaurant
I recently dined in Soyers restaurant, hence I can tell you from first hand experience that the food, level of service and the atmosphere are all quite exceptional. In fact the presentation and quality of the food offered was to a level I'd expect from a top quality restaurant in London. With this in mind, I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a fine dining experience that's a little bit special.
