Ate here on Saturday lovely fresh food cooked to order such a pleasure watching the chefs cook our food, staff really friendly best place in Bideford by far.... carbonara was out of this world!!

Good Find, Lovely place to eat
Had lunch here today with friends, lovely place to eat nice setting, food was brilliant nice and fresh will be back again for sure.

Great Food *****
I had a meal with 3 friends and it was lovely the food is fresh you can see how hard the chefs work cooking the food to order. Where else can say that they cook food to order and prove it. The steak I had was the best I have ever tasted, the chef really does know his stuff. I had a chat with him as we were leaving and he was so friendly and happy to talk. The waitress that served us was really nice, polite and happy to get us whatever we wanted. Can not recommend the place high enough truly fantastic

Good Food Lovely Staff
Came in for lunch today food was lovely soup was great could tell it was homemade. Staff were really freiendly good value for money. We will be back for sure, night menu looks delicious.

Sorry we're closed
We were recommended bistro by the owner of the Spa we were staying at. Imagine our surprise when we turned up at 8.15 on a Friday night mid September only to be told sorry we're closed. Most unfriendly and unhelpful. I know we hadn't booked, but the place was practically empty. Nothing to recommend I'm afraid except to brush up on customer service.

We ate there last night and it was brilliant HUGE gluten free options staff lovely foos cooked fresh to order - best place in Bideford by far well done we will be back

Will be going back
My wife and I have been to the recently opened Serendipity twice recently. Loved it both times. Open kitchen is always nice to see, attentive staff, and finally and most importantly, really good food. Not sure where the "average but expensive" reviewer is coming from. It was good food, reasonably priced. One of Bideford's best. We will definitely be going back.

Average but expensive
Cant really say anything bad about the place, but its just nothing out of the ordinary. It is advertised as serving Italian cuisine but was pretty bog standard cafe fare. I had lunch in there with 2 friends, the sandwiches and salads were quite plain, but fresh at least. I think its recently been refurbished and the decor is tasteful, would probably eat in there again, but wouldnt rave about it.

Best Gammon I have ever tasted
My girlfriend and I ate at Serendipity tonight and it was the best gammon we have ever tasted. Fantastic service, so well priced and fresh food what more can you ask for. We will be going back again
