recently this pub has been refurbished from the dindgy place it was to a more light refreshing place.they have the best selection of real ales in bideford.selling a good range of local ales. recently they have started doing gigs and dj nights which is nice.during the day it is a quiet place to drink with lovely friendly staff. worth a visit.

Since it was refurbished last year, this pub has a nice,light,airy atmosphere. If you are a keen real ale drinker, they have a huge range available. A lot of these are brewed locally, so it gives you a chance to taste a proper traditional ale.The staff are warm and friendly, and they also have ,on occasions, live music.

This place has been done out really nicely. Its feels fresh and its now a lovely place to have a relaxing drink any day of the week. They have a great range of local ales and the bar staff are friendly and polite. There is also a great upstairs room that can be hired out for private functions.
