after a clcle or walk on the tarka trail then is a lovely destination to have a quiet drink in a lovely beer garden.it backs on to the tarka trail making a lovely location. they have a good selection of food and beer at slightly expensive prices but dont let this put you off.at the weekends they have bands which can make it a little busy. good pub worth a visit.

Great pub, lovely food, fab location - especially the beer garden as its on the Tarka Trail and there is somewhere to park your bike. The prices were reasonable and the staff and local customers made you feel welcome. A nice spacious place that attracts a range of customers, and its family friendly.

I've been a here a few times, for different reasons. Its a good place to go to when the relatives visit, because its clean, well looked after and the beer garden next to the Tarka Trail is excellent - decked out with patio heaters and plenty of tables. They also host some of the bands during the Folk Festival, when the atmosphere is totally different, but still as friendly and welcoming.

Fresh modern Pub!
Went here for an evening of music and drinks and felt I could have spent my whole eveing here. It had a lovely friendly warm atmosphere which instantly relaxed me after a hectic week at work.
Drinks matched prices in near by pubs but the place felt clean. It has a large space so you don't feel like you are constantly pushing past people to get to the bar.
Staff were friendly and familiar with the locals but welcomed new comers!By hiccupgalore5 at 16:09 on 05/04/10
