Above and Below; Knitted sea & beach scenes to support the RNLI

  I missed this inspirational exhibition when it was at Appledore - great to be given another chance to see it!

  I went to a pre-showing of "Above and Below" (the waves?) at Kingsley school. It was brought into being by the people who organised the knitted Gingerbread House that was displayed at Atlantic Village.
  
  The display will be going on a nationwide tour to raise money for the RNLI. The first show date is the 21st July to the 5th August at RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Torrington. It really is an amazing exhibit produced by a global neighbourhood of knitters!! Well done the 2000+ knitters and the organisers and voluntary workers who made it happen.
