Five wind turbines to be built on Windmill Hill, Instow

The field, known locally as Windmill Hill, in Instow, is to
be the site for five new wind turbines.
Planning permission has been granted, without consultation,
to national fuel generators Youllstone Bio Fuels.
Y.B.F, who have offices in London,
are rumoured to have been in secret negotiations with the land owners and purchased the field for an undisclosed
sum.
Youllstone Bio Fuels are stating that a clause in the deeds of the land allow
for them to erect up to five wind turbines
without any planning permission as the field is already the site of an
existing windmill – although now a ruin – and therefore the use of the field
would remain unchanged
Local residents are being advised that the possible low
level noise nuisance and the devaluation of property, may enable them to seek
small claims for compensation.
The local autorities and the former owner of
the Windmill Hill site were unavailable for comment.

It's about time that we saw a windmill on windmill hill again. I have always said that the windmill should be restored especially as the neighbours are so keen to preserve the field from the unnecessary building of a new school for Instow.
Green electricity is definitely the way forward. Instow doesn't need a new school seeing as how popular and seemingly successful the current one is (and now they can get more eco friendly power).
