Since last year Google Street View has been available for 25 cities in the UK. The service has now spread to cover smaller towns and villages.
Google street view gives a pictorial view of mapped areas of the country and today, 11 March 2010 a further 210,000 more miles of streets in the UK are searchable in 360 degrees.
So, take a look, can you see anyone you know?

I have had a look at the Google Map with street view. It is wonderful to see Bideford in 3D or is it 2D? Anyway, I am searching through my neighbours gardens and having a look at my old primary school.
