Should SATS Tests Be Scrapped in Bideford Schools?
By Lilly_Byer | Saturday, April 17, 2010, 09:00
Head teachers across the UK have voted overwhelmingly to boycott next month's SATS tests in primary schools. What do Bideford parents, teachers (and children) think?
Should SATS be scrapped in favour of teacher assessment or is there a middle ground?
Comments
I think the uncertainty for the children due to take their SATS tests next month will be the thing that will have the most influence on the children, more than actually doing the tests.
Imagine preparing for an interview and then not knowing if it is actually going to go ahead.
Our children need stability, not teachers and the government playing with their lives.
