A facebook group called 'Reclaim Bideford for Steven Cloak Midnight March' has been set up as a protest against the brutal attack of the local man.

From the group: "Steven Cloak was brutally injured in an unprovoked attack in Bideford
on Saturday 27th February 2010. He is currently in intensive care in
Derriford Hospital in Plymouth and will likely have to live with brain
damage when he finally comes round. We need to make a stand against his
attackers and show that we will not tolerate this appalling violence in
Bideford. I propose that we march at midnight on a Saturday as a
tribute to Steven. A lot of people are shocked and distressed by this
attack and need to feel that they can do something to prevent this kind
disgusting outburst being repeated."

It is clear to see how Bideford People feel about this senseless attack.
The facebook group now has more than 1,300 members.
A peaceful demonstration is being organised in Victoria Park at midday on Saturday 20t March 2010.
