Buckland Brewer community shop - coming events

Get your diaries out! The Buckland Brewer community shop committee is planning events for the next few months.

Our annual general meeting takes place on Monday 29 November at 8pm in the Methodist church. Come and hear about our progress and plans for the coming year. We need your continued support, be it as a volunteer, committee member, comments on the business plan or just a small monetary contribution.

We have got a table at the Christmas Fair on Saturday 4 December between 11 am and 3 pm. The fair takes place in the village centre. We are selling puzzles and, probably, special treats for your taste buds. The fair is in support of Devon Air Ambulance and the village hall fund.

Looking further ahead, the committee has agreed to stage a barn dance in early 2011. We've managed to book the ever popular Bloatertown for the dance so it should be a special night. Tickets will go on sale shortly.
