CHRISTMAS POETRY COMPETITION

Terms and Conditions

1. The Big Sheep and Bideford People Christmas Dinner Poetry competition is open to all except employees of Associated Newspapers or any of its groups of companies or agents.  

2. This is an online only competition and competitors must first register on www.bidefordpeople.co.uk to submit an entry.

3. Closing date for submitting entries to the competition is midnight Friday 27 November 2009.

4. The prize winners will be judged by Rick Turner of The Big Sheep and Amanda McCormack of Bideford People.  The judges’ decision is final.

5.  Poems can be of any length and the subject should be Christmas Dinner.  All entries must include entrant's name and age (adults may just state ('over 16').

6. There are prizes for two separate age categories and age must be stated at time of submission.

Prize for category age 16 and over: hamper of local produce

Prize for category age 15 and under: season ticket for The Big Sheep with a value of £32.50.

Prize winning poems will be displayed as posters at the Big Sheep Farmers Markets on 5, 12, 19  and 23 December 2009.

There are no cash alternatives.

7. Winners will be contacted by e-mail.

8. Prizes are to be collected from The Big Sheep or can be delivered within the EX39 area by arrangement.,
