Young people in Bideford are
invited to a unique event at the Library next week.
'Bideford's Big Book Swap' is an
opportunity to bring unwanted books, swap them with others and share
recommendations.
"Whatever type of book you
like, there's bound to be someone else who's in to it too," organiser Tom
Collins said.
"It's a great way of meeting
people with similar interests, as well as picking up a recommended read or two
for the summer holidays- so bring your books and bring your friends.”
There is no charge for the event,
and free coffee and cake will be served. Swappers are invited to turn up at any
point during the evening.
The event takes place on Thursday
22nd July, between 5 and 7 pm. More information can be found by searching for
'Bideford's Big Book Swap' on Facebook, or by calling the Library.
Bideford Library is situated at
the end of the old bridge, next to Tantons hotel.

ReportI think this is a really good idea. It's great to be able to share what you think about books and maybe pick up something you wouldn't have thought of reading before.
I hope it will be a regular event.
