As a woman it is often quite difficult to go into places like this, however Kirkhams in Bideford is not like the normal tyre place. The men are helpful and don't make me feel like a fish out of water. They are also very reasonably priced.
As it is positioned just over the bridge out of town, I usually take a walk into town, do a bit of shopping and go back to collect the car, so it makes for quite an enjoyable morning or afternoon.
They also do exhausts and emergency puncture repairs roadside for a reasonable cost.
Certainly worth having their number on your mobile.
