Do you know the Mill Street Recorder Player?

It was like an episode of Bideford's own Cops on Camera. Mill Street lunchtime diners and shoppers were shocked when Bideford police turned up to settle a dispute....armed with tasers.

Police Bideford Taser Recorder Jane
You might be thinking "oh no, another drunken lunchtime brawl" but you'd be wrong because the 'perp' was none other than a middle aged recorder player/busker by the name of Jane.
Jane, who claimed she has a Public Liability Licence and therefore every right to busk on the street outside Froot Loop and Blazeys cafes had been in dispute with the latter for a good half an hour before the taser toting police officers arrived on the scene.
One Froot Loop diner told Bideford People "By the time I left the cafe the dispute was clearly escalating. There was shouting and the lady with the recorder was threatening a retaliatory legal action. I don't know what happened next because I had agreed to meet my wife outside New Look and I'd get tasered if I was late".
Another shopper arriving later on the scene said "the recorder player had her notebook out and was objecting to the officers themselves. She told me when she had complained of being harassed that the policeman had said "I'm a Policeman its my job to harass people" but I was having none of it it looked like a storm outside tea shop if you ask me".
Blazey's of Bideford had asked that she be removed as she was putting off their customers. Bideford People arrived too late on the scene to get Jane's side of the story but would love to know more.
Was she busking for charity? What tunes was she playing? Who is she? We think her surname is 'Wimbourne' - do you know her? She fled the scene after putting up a good fight and should have the chance to tell her story. So, if you know Jane, or anyone connected to her - let us know.
