Torridge District Council is working with the

People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) in providing free health

checks for dogs from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June.

The PDSA mobile unit will be at the Northam Burrows Centre on the 4th and Victoria Park in Bideford on 5th from 10am to 5pm both days, and at Manor Offices in Holsworthy on Sunday 6th from 10am to 4pm.

It

is an opportunity for residents of Torridge to talk to an experienced

PDSA veterinary nurse about their pet's health care and to pick up

information on keeping pets fit and healthy.

Health checks will cover: weight, eyes, teeth, ears, coat condition and general fitness.

This

year PDSA will provide more than 2 million free treatments to sick and

injured pets and more than 200,000 preventive treatments.

For more information or to speak to a dedicated PDSA advisor please call 0800 731 2502

Monday – Friday from 09:00-17:00 or see their website www.pdsa.org.uk
