Wonderful scenery, actors obviously not only chosen for their acting
-
Aladdin at the Queen's Theatre Barnstaple
–like in most plays, but their brilliant singing as well, fabulous
all-rounders!!! My favourite characters
in the play were Widow Twankey and Abanazar because no one in the WORLD could
have played their roles better! I also loved their AMASING costumes and
singing!
My favourite scenes were the
Tap dancing in Twankeys laundry because it was lively and fun, The magic carpet
scene; it was really funny!!! And the sweet scene when Wishy and Aladdin
through the sweets into the crowd - How come I didn’t get one? At the end Wishy Washy got four children up on
to the stage to help him with the ‘Pants Song’ including 4 year old Mia - so
cute!
Inside the Theatre there was
a great Hiss and Boo atmosphere, it is the best play I’ve ever seen and I’ll
DEFINITELY recommend it! Go to http://www.northdevontheatres.org.uk
or call 01271 32 42 42 to book your tickets! But be quick! The show ends on the
3rd Jan 2011!
