Instow Marine Base Workers

I have to say I am getting irritated with the contractors at the Instow marine base. They are parking on the grass area, where the big bird is.
This is only going to encourage others to park on the area when they want to go to the beach (not to mention giving our traveller friends ideas)
The grass is getting messed up by the tyres, making the entrance to our lovely village look messy.
Yesterday however I was really mad - I noticed that there were pieces of paper under the windscreen wipers of the cars parked on the grass and actually thought, "great somebody is doing something about them parkiing there" However further up the road I noticed that the cars in the layby also had the leaflets under their wipers, which meant they were just flyers.
The thing that got me really mad was that after some of the workers had finished work and returned to their cars they had removed the flyers and thrown them on the grass! We are proud of our village and have good relations with the marine base, however as far as I am concerned my opinion of the marine base went down yesterday through no fault of their own.

I hate it when people throw flyers on the floor and litter, it's so easy to just throw it away at home later (or even better out it for recycling!). We live in such a beautiful area and should respect it and do our best to keep it that way.

ReportHardly any workers down there today - only three vans parked on the grass first thing this morning and a couple of vans in the layby - I wonder why?
