Love is in the air at Edenmore Nursing Home!

There was love in the air in Bideford this week as residents of Edenmore Nursing Home set about proving that you’re never too old for romance.

Residents of the award-winning 48-bed home enjoyed a day of romance with live romantic music from local entertainer Chaz and a buffet of heart-shaped cakes, jellies and iced biscuits.

They also helped dedicated staff make heart-shaped decorations and cards.

Home Manager Elizabeth Thompson commented: “It was wonderful to see our residents celebrating the day and it affirms that all the time and effort we put into organising activities is worthwhile.

“They really enjoyed listening to the live music as well as eating all the romantic styled buffet food we made specially.

“Our staff aim to stimulate the residents and by getting them involved in creative events is the perfect way.”
