August Bank Holiday Cricket Festival

Bideford Cricket club are pleased to announce that following the success of their Twenty/20 tournament last August the club are planning to host a Cricket Festival on August Bank Holiday Monday (30th) .

The Festival will take the form of six 24 over white ball matches involving Bideford, local rivals Victoria Park, Taunton St Andrews and a Chairman’s select Xl which will be called the ‘Waterbabies’. It is hoped the ‘Waterbabies’ will have a few surprise guest players. The first game will start at 9.15am and the final one at 6pm.

As with last year’s event all the proceeds from the day will be shared between the ‘Children’s Hospice South West’ at Fremington and the club’s new pavilion fund.
