With some fantastic adventure sports available every day throughout the summer at Skern Lodge, you will never be short of something to do.
Our 'adventure days' are available for unaccompanied children from the age of 9 and if you younger ones can bring a parent along (even to watch) you can come along too.
This week we still have availability on many of the sessions, maybe you would like to try your hand at kayaking or surfing or reach new heights on our climbing wall or high ropes course.
It's a great way to get this holiday season started and get out and be active!

Having child minding headaches? Then why not sign up for a week of adventure on our 'adventure week' programmes, drop them off in the morning and pick up at the end of the day, knowing that they would be in safe hands all day and having great fun! & £140 for the week (£20 off for second child).

I took my granddaughters to Skern Lodge for 6 events in one day.Plus a packed lunch. Brilliant. On all the events they felt safe because of the non-dictatorial instruction was listened to without boredom. The girls are 7 and 9 by the way.I really recommend Skern Lodge at any time of the year

If you book 3 or more days the cost for a days activities drops to just £28 per day. We can provide an excellent packed lunch at just £4 per day. To book your days just give us a call on (01237) 475992 and we will be able to let you know what we have available. We also have the adventure week running with space still available for just £140 for the week. No computer games here - just real adventure!

I would recommend these activitiy days. We went as a family several years ago. The morning was spent on the assault course and learning to kayak in the pool.
After a lovely packed lunch we went down to Appledore and on to the estuary to put into practice what we had learned in the morning.
Fun and games with the kayaks and a gentle paddle down to "litte America" in Bideford.
The day climaxed with a jump off the old Bideford bridge. What a day!

Can I chuck one of my kids in for 2 or 3 days a week?

I've just worked out that it will cost me £155 a week to keep my ten year old with our child-minder and he plays X-Box for half a day.

Also, can they take a pack lunch or buy lunch there?

The adventure days programme is open to both children and adults, but we also provide opportunity to book in on your own session if you wish. You can even have 1:1 tuition if it's only you. Give us a call to discuss your options on 01237 475992.
