I have because I've been stuck in since the snow started as well as all the residents in my street too. The road and pavements were not treated  and no attempt has been made to put down grit or salt - we can't obviously drive but we can't walk to a main road.  I am disabled with a mobility problem and am running out of food.

Snow is pretty. I would love to be able to at least stock up my larder but thanks to the Council who don't bother to grit side roads (and most of us live on side roads) many of us are stuck indoors.

The council should obviously make the pavements safe - it's part of their job. I think in these conditions they should create a delivery service for people who can't get to the shops, it's the least they can do.

Anyone reading this please consider your neighbours during the big freeze and offer help with shopping and make sure people are warm enough. You may be reluctant to in case people are offended but it's better than letting them freeze or starve!
