I would like to know where all this will end. ?... More and more online shopping, all food shopping done out of town, (councils planners could gain a roundabout) and charging to park in Bideford, for what ?.. There's nothing to buy in Bideford.. the town is Dead...RIP. If you value your town seek and lobby your sleepy council, most of them are 2nd homers and don't give a fkuc. Sorry I got a bit heated, but you must see that the Town is not responding to out of town shopping.. The new Tesco in E the W will see small shops local to E the W. Die...why. ?? Council Planning.

Well Ivornigbob - if people are shopping out of fown as you say then surely the town is responding to the out of town shopping? There are still plenty of shops for people to buy whatever they need in Bideford. I think it is a sign of the times that some residents would rather hop in their cars than walk a few feet to proper shops. However, with the price of petrol increasing by the day maybe they will think twice now.

Hi Elfin58, funny name, do you rearly not know what 2nd homers are..sad. I live in a part of Bideford that is very bissy during the summer, but dead in the winter because all my neighbours move back to their roots. They have houses down here just as a status symble where they live is, shti. They are Sado's
