Both!
I've never watched it before as I tend to avoid anything like those that reel you in and get you hooked with so much media fuss.
This year's different:
a) because I find the whole concept of Jedward fabulous!
b) I'm on Twitter now and you can't tweet and not know what's going on in XFactor!
What it isn't is a real talent competition - it's all about the show!

I'm fed-up with X Factor. It used to be a genuinely entertaining talent show but now it's blatently just the Simon Cowell Show.
After the debacle with John & Edward who are utter rubbish, I won't be watching it again. Despite the superb talent from some of the contestants, it's just a complete farce now & an insult to the intelligence. I no longer care who wins this time.

That Simon Cowell is a really clever man isn't he? I expect even the people who have said they will not be watching the show again will still be keeping an eye on it, just to see if Jedward really do go on to win!
He knew that the public vote would keep Jedward in the show and by getting rid of Lucy his acts stay in the show for longer.
He is working us all and we can't help ourselves - we will continue to be used and abused and the viewing figures will stay around the same!
p.s. I'm glad no-one voted in the poll for Jamie - I just don't get him at all!
