I don't know what all the fuss is about with the tuition fees. As far as I understand it the families who can not afford to pay for the tuition fees are given a grant. Am I wrong? Is this just the middle classes whingeing about having to pay up out of their more than adequate salaries, just like the fuss they are making about having £25 a week taken away from them in child benefit when they ear £40,000 a year?

Report
I witnessed the student protest in Barnstaple yesterday.
"What do we want?" they shouted in loud voices
"A subway, I'm starving" came the reply from one particularly stupid looking student - (don't worry love, you can always work there once you flunk college)
I do not believe that half of the students have actually done their research and know what they are protesting about. They are just jumping on the bandwagon and having a day out of college in the process.
Nothing in life is free and that is a lesson well learned.
