Route 39 Education Project is a parent-led group proposing another secondary school between Kilkhampton and Clovelly.

The school would be a smaller school - 500 children up to GCSE, plus a sixth form. It would teach GCSEs, A levels and vocational qualifications. It would employ qualified teachers and leaders and be OFSTED inspected. It would be a non-selective, state-funded, fully comprehensive school. We are hoping to open the school in 2013.

We have advice and expertise from educational professionals, and have been selected to be part of the New Schools Development Programme. One of only 20 groups nationwide to get through. This means we will receive extra advice and support with our proposal.

However, without community support this project cannot progress. Please let people know about it!
