Route 39 Academy's head, Joss Glossop, has started her job with the new secondary school for North Devon to prepare it for opening this September.

Joss was formerly Vice-Principal of South Dartmoor Community College, a large rural 11-19 academy that was graded by OFSTED as 'Outstanding'.

The school will start in temporary accommodation this September (to be shortly announced). However it is also getting closer to having a permanent home! The acquisition of the school is being handled by the Education Funding Agency (EFA) who are now focused on preferred sites near Bucks Cross.
