DESIGN A SCHOOL LOGO - AND WIN A LAPTOP!

Design a logo for Route 39 Academy, the new state secondary school, opening this September – and win a Chromebook laptop worth £230. The competition is open to children aged 12 and under.

The logo will be used in all aspects of school branding, for example uniform, signs, website and stationery. The design could use the name ‘Route 39 Academy’, or the school ethos of “Engage, Respect, Aspire”, or it could be image that represents the school. Multiple entries are allowed.

There will be an exhibition of all entries at the Route 39 Academy office in Atlantic Village, Bideford, from Monday 25th February - Saturday 2nd March. The public will be invited to vote on the entries. The entries will also be displayed on the Route 39 Facebook page (Route39EP). The five entries with the most votes will be brought to a judging panel. The winner will be contacted by March 7th.

The winning logo idea will be worked up by a professional graphic designer. The winner will have the opportunity to meet with the graphic designer, together with their parents, or carers, to see how their design was worked up into a professional logo.
