    OK, so what are the big events in Bideford's calendar?

    We've got New Year's Eve, obviously

    Carnival too.

    What else is there?  I'm trying to draw up a calendar so list Bideford (and the villages) annual events here .... please!

    There is the folk festival and the North Devon Festival in the summer.

    There are quite a few regattas in the Summer on the estuary, but I never know when they are.  Perhaps the rowing club on the Quay could enlighten us?

    Appledore and Instow also have a regatta in the Summer.

    There is also a community fun day in Instow in the Summer.
