This is worrying. The statistics for crime maps are compared with the same period in the previous year so this is not a seasonal increase in crime. Burglaries, Anti-social behaviour, vehicle crime and crimes of violence have all increased. The only type of crime which has decreased is robbery - remind me: what's the difference between burglary and robbery? There were 70 violent crimes in Bideford in the three months recorded - scary :S
