I love this little cafe. Such charater and lovely dishes. Always something different on the specials board (which taste devine) and the usual favourites on the menu. The croque monsieur is the best I have ever tasted. Haven't began to mention the home-made cakes and you MUST try the strawberry tarts in the summer. Heaven!

This cafe is very nice, but it has the potential to be great. The cakes look and are amazing, they even do gluten free chocolate brownies - its nice to see cafes offering food to suit dietary requirements. The decor could be improved but listening to French music was a nice touch. A tad on the expensive side, but a nice place to sit and chat after a visit around the gallery.
This little cafe attached to the burton art gallery is really a lovely place to have a morning coffee or an afternoon tea. if the weather is good you can sit at the tables outside overlooking the park. the cakes really are delicious, although perhaps a little expensive but really nice as a little bit of a spoil yourself day!
The atmosphere is very cosmopolitan with the french atmosphere penetrating throughout.

ReportThis cafe really does not make the most of its brilliant trading position. I visited last summer on a lovely sunny day and the cafe was just closing - at 3.30pm in the afternoon! The staff were not particularly friendly, probably because they wanted to go home! We had a pot of tea for five and a few cakes, which came to a sum of money you really needed a mortgage for!
I also visited the cafe with a group of school children, (to give them some experience of talking French) The staff, although I think they were French, were not very accomodating with our educational visit.
I think this place could be run so much better as a nice little tea room as you can sit out in the sunshine in the park and enjoy watching the world go by
