Maintenance work on a road into Northam Burrows Country Park is due to start next week.
Contractors Devon and Cornwall Surfacing, based in Abbotsham, will be on site from Monday 29th April working on repairs to the Sandymere entrance road leading into the popular Country Park.
Work to repair existing potholes has just been completed on the Westward Ho! access road along the Pebble Ridge, so local residents who want to take their vehicles onto the Burrows can still do so when repairs on the Sandymere road are being carried out.
The Watertown (old tip) entrance road will remain open as usual.
The planned works along the Sandymere road will commence on Monday 29th April and should be completed by Friday 3rd May, during which time vehicular access will only be possible from the Westward Ho! and Watertown entrances.
