Woman trapped in car following crash on A386

A woman was trapped inside a vehicle after it left the road and ended up in a field earlier this afternoon.
Fire crews from Torrington and Bideford were called to the scene on the A386, near Little Torrington, at around 12.50pm today (February 26). They arrived to discover a woman still trapped in a vehicle in a field. Rescuers were able to free the woman via the drivers door and she was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance.
