Warning of gusts of up to 65mph for North Devon

Gusts of up to 65mph could affect parts of north Devon tonight and into Wednesday.
The Met Office have issued a yellow warning of wind, asking people to be aware of the potential for disruption in coastal districts, as the winds are strong enough to bring down some trees. A swathe of north to northwesterly gales and locally severe gales are expected to move south and into northwest Devon overnight.
The Environment Agency has also put in place a flood alert, its lowest warning, for coastal areas from Hartland Point to Lynmouth, including the Taw and Torridge estruary.
This afternoon's high tide at 12.45pm is below the flood alert criteria, however due to the wind strength some locations may experience wave overtopping and localised flooding.
