Tributes to popular former Torridge Councillor who was 'passionate about all things Bideford'

Moving tributes have been paid to former Torridge District Councillor Tim Langdon who has passed away.
Councillor Langdon was elected to Torridge District Council in 1987 and remained a councillor for one full term.
Northam councillor Jane Whittaker knew him well said, "I've known Tim most of my life, his family used to run the Rose of Torridge. He was a local businessman and was passionate about all things Bideford. A real Bidefordian who took a great interest in local politics as well."
Torridge Licensing Manager Tony Nicholls also knew him as 'a friend with a great sense of humour. He always had time for a chat'.
Council leader Barry Parsons added, "My sympathies and condolences, and those of Torridge District Council, go out to his family and friends at this time."
The funeral will be held Tuesday 30 October at 2.15pm at St Mary's, Bideford.
