North Devon Seed Swap returns for eleventh year

The annual North Devon Seed Swap continues to flourish, and this year welcomes growers old and new on Sunday 9th February, 10.30am-3pm. The venue is The Small School, Hartland. The free and friendly event is a great way to look forward to spring, as you swap seeds or plants, discover new and local varieties of vegetables and flowers, or exchange ideas with fellow gardening enthusiasts.
Even if you've never grown as much as a pot of cress, you're just as welcome to come along. Have a browse, ask for a bit of advice from fellow enthusiasts, and take home some free seed. Next year you can return with some of your own successes to share and perhaps help someone else get in to growing their own food!
Seed swaps help to preserve our amazing and precious heritage of vegetable varieties, especially local cultivars adapted to our climate and soils.
Cakes and refreshments will be provided by the Small School but please feel free to donate a cake!
