Are you a painter, printmaker, ceramicist, textiles artist, sculptor, crafts maker or graphics artist?
Bideford's Burton Art Gallery is calling for artists to submit their work for inclusion in its annual open exhibition.
The exhibition, which runs from November 24 to December 23, is run by the Friends of the Burton Art Gallery & Museum in collaboration with the Burton Art Gallery and Museum. This year's annual open is to be selected by Hilary Paynter, Artist and ex-President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, Yvonne Crossley, Director of The Drawing Gallery, and Martin Hesp, senior staff feature writer at the Western Morning News.
Martin Hesp says, "It's really important to me to support the arts, so I am honoured to be part of this prestigious selection panel for the popular Annual exhibition at the Burton. I am excited about the possibility of discovering fresh new talent whether that be an amateur or professional."
Hilary Paynter says, "I am really looking forward to seeing the latest work of fellow artists. This is a surprisingly talented and creative corner of the country, so I am expecting a great response."
An entry form can be downloaded from the Burton's website at www.burtonartgallery.co.uk or call into the Burton to collect. Work must be submitted for selection on Saturday 17th November between 11am and 4pm, and on Sunday 18th November 2012, between 2pm and 4pm.
Visual Arts Manager, Miranda Clarke is excited about this year's exhibition and said, "I'm really hoping that there will be an intensive dialogue between the panel members and that this will be demonstrated in the quality of makers and artists in the south west who are selected."
Exhibition dates 24th November to 23rd December, 2012.
