Severe flooding is affecting the region
Fire crews have been called to several reports of flooding across North Devon, including Clovelly, this afternoon following torrential rainfall.
Motorists have taken to twitter to warn others. The report said the A386 into Bideford is closed after Landcross due to flooding. Another twitter user has reported that a car had become partially submerged in flood water near Bradworthy. There is also flooding around Stibbs Cross, near Torrington.
The Environment Agency has issued two flood warnings in place for roads between Bradworthy and Bradford, including Sutcombemill, Milton Damerel and the A388 near Milton Damerel, as well as the roads between Bradford and Dolton, including Dippermill, Black Torrington, Sheepwash and the A386 at Hele Bridge near Hatherleigh.
