Bideford Blues rower Charlie White wins English indoor title

CHARLIE WHITE won the junior 15 category at the English Indoor Rowing Championship.
Charlie, a Bideford College pupil and member of Bideford Blues rowing club, was competing in a field of 45 rowers, the biggest of the day at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
He covered the equivalent of 1,504 metres in his allotted five minutes.
Charlie will attend a trial for the Great Britain team in Boston, Lincolnshire, this month. He thanked his sponsors, including Bideford Bridge Trust, West End Precision, Braddicks Leisure, Michele White Fitness and Philip Corbin Osteopath.
